McDonald's Oman ranked top in food safety and quality


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) McDonald's Oman has received top billing in a survey of Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) conducted recently by a leading regional research company.

The Golden Arches franchise scored resoundingly in Market- I's survey of customers across all categories of quick service diners – a result that further entrenches the brand's preeminent position in the fast-food industry in Oman and the wider region. In market share McDonald's was placed well ahead of its rivals in the sultanate as well as across the Middle East. Customers patronised the brand far more frequently giving McDonald's substantial lead and 51 per cent market share in QSR in Oman according to the survey.  Those surveyed were families young adults and teenagers of all groups and nationalities.

McDonald's received top marks in value for money food quality food safety clean restaurants and friendly service. Food quality and safety were the overriding attributes. McDonald's was also ranked highest in the most trusted brand category.
