Infra Oman to be held from October 20


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) More than 200 local and international exhibitors will take part in the fourth Infra Oman 2014 exhibition which will be held at the Oman International Exhibition Centre from October 20 to 22.

A highlight of this year's exhibition will be the UK pavilion featuring more than 40 companies.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Eng Mohsin bin Mohammed al Sheikh chairman of Muscat Municipality.

It will be organised by Al Nimr Expo in cooperation with the ministries of Transport and Communications and Commerce and Industry.  Some of the participating countries will be Australia Austria France Germany India Iran Italy Lebanon Malaysia Romania Singapore South Korea Spain Turkey UAE and the UK.

One of the focus of this year's Infra Oman will be the upcoming GCC rail network.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday Salim Omar al Hashmi chairman of Al Nimr Expo said 'The exhibition is an ideal platform for all contractors and developers to showcase their projects and achievements and source their requirements.

'Infra Oman has grown significantly since its debut in 2011 and established itself as the Middle East's leading infrastructure and industrial projects exhibition.'

He said that the exhibition will showcase the achievements of local companies that have made their mark in various sectors over the years.  A seminar on the use of integrated software applications to control costs in the construction industry will be held on the second day of the exhibition.
