Four Saudis Ethiopian jailed for terrorism


(MENAFN- Arab News) Riyadh's Special Criminal Court on Wednesday sentenced four Saudis and one Ethiopian to prison terms ranging from one to five years on terror-related charges.

The convicts were found guilty of several offenses including being in the presence of extremists who brand others infidels inciting protests at the Prince Mohammed Bin Naif Counseling and Care Center and attempting to fight abroad.

The Ethiopian defendant was sentenced to five years in prison and deportation following his release in addition to a lifelong ban from entering the Kingdom except for performing Haj or Umrah.

Two defendants were sentenced to one and a half years in prison and a three-year travel ban following their release.

The two other defendants were sentenced to a year in prison and a three-year travel ban.
