China's automobile sales hit 1.71m in August
(MENAFN) According to the Chinese Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the country's automobile sales increased in August, hitting 1.71 million units, Xinhua reported.
August-figures marker an increase of 4.04 percent compared to the same period last year, while it showed a surge of 6.72 percent compared to August 2013.
Meanwhile, China's automobile output hit 1.71 million units in the month of August, an increase of 2.22 percent over a year, but down 0.34 percent over the same month last year.
