(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation visiting Laos concluded their visit which saw them meeting with prominent Laotian officials such as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, the First Deputy Premier, Asang Laoly, and National Assembly Speaker Pany Yathotou.
Kuwaiti legislators and their Laotian officials focused on means to bolster bilateral relations on all possible domains.
The Kuwaiti-Laotian parliamentary friendship committee also held a meeting during the Kuwait parliamentary delegation's visit.
During the visit, head of the delegation MP Khalil Abdullah handed Speaker of the Laotian National Assembly Pany Yathotout an official invitation from her Kuwaiti counterpart Marouq Al-Ghanem to visit Kuwait.
Kuwait, which established an embassy in Laos in 2008, was the first Arab state to assign a diplomatic mission in the country.
The Kuwaiti delegation includes MPs Ahmad Lari, Adnan Abdul-Samad and Faisal Al-Duwaisan
