Bahraini student missing in India flood


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Hussain Mahdi Ebrahim is studying in Bangalore and went to the flood-hit area on a trip with his Bahraini friend.Manama — A Bahraini national went missing in India’s flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir Bahrain embassy in India has announced. Bahrain’s Ambassador to India Tariq bin Daina said on Tuesday that efforts were being made to find the Bahraini who lost contact with his family adding that the embassy is following up the case and search operations by the Indian authorities. The embassy asked Bahraini nationals in India to contact the embassy in case of emergency on phone numbers 00919560344455 or 00919582213131.

The missing student is Hussain Mahdi Ebrahim 23 who last contacted his family on Saturday according to a local newspaper. He is studying in Bangalore and went to the flood-hit area on a trip with his Bahraini friend. Another Bahraini couple were reported missing earlier but later found safe at a hotel.
