Philippian Cebu Airways adds Riyadh to its ME network

(MENAFN) Philippian Cebu Pacific announced adding a new flight to Riyadh to its services, thus becoming the first low-cost carrier flying between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines, Saudi Gazette reported.

The new service, which will start on October 1, will be operating three-times a week, with non-stop flights departing from Manila and utilizing the airline's brand new A330-300 fleet.

The addition of the Saudi capital will help broaden Cebu's network of Middle Eastern destinations, joining Dammam, Kuwait and Dubai as the airline hopes to attract more than one million Filipinos living in Saudi Arabia with the new service.

"We have long wanted to serve the substantial population of Global Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we look forward to bringing them home more often, on our extensive network and trademark low fares," Cebu's GM said.
