Qatar- Al Sada to participate in GCC petroleum meeting


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada (pictured), the Minister of Energy and Industry, yesterday left for Kuwait as the head of Qatar's delegation to the 33rd ministerial meeting of the GCC Petroleum Cooperation Committee, which will be held in Kuwait City today.

The meeting will discuss several issues related to the Gulf joint action in the energy field, mainly the possibility to unify the prices of petroleum products in the GCC, the developments in the meetings related to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol, as well as the meetings of the GCC Petroleum Media Committee. The meeting will also review the latest developments in the oil market.
