Lady Gaga’s upcoming fourth studio album took many by surprise as she ditches the electro-pop sound and outlandish antics to record a jazz covers album with Tony Bennett.
Cheek to Cheek due out on September 19 sees Gaga and the 88-year-old crooner perform standards like Cole Porter’s Anything Goes and Irving Berlin’s Let’s Face the Music and Dance.
“We get along great and she’s just such a good improvised jazz singer” Bennett said of his fellow New Yorker. “I just love her and want to work with her as many times as possible in the future.”
