Jumeirah Group to launch VENU hotel on Dubai Tourism Island


(MENAFN) Jumeirah Group plans to launch the first hotel under its new VENU brand on the planned Bluewaters Island project in Dubai, Arabian Business reported.

The group said that its new VENU brand is designed to appeal to the "modern traveler whose expectations revolve around their own lifestyle - clean, contemporary, cool and effortless".

The Dubai-based hotel operator said in a statement that it is in discussions with developer Meraas Holding to operate the first VENU hotel on Bluewaters Island, a USD1.6 billion project located off Jumeirah Beach Residences which will feature the world's tallest ferries wheel.

It added that discussions are also under way with a number of developers in the Middle East, Asia and Europe for the VENU brand. The full details of the planned projects will be announced later in the year.
