Iraqi Prime Minister Receives Telephone Call from Turkish Counterpart
(MENAFN- QNA) Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi received Tuesday a telephone call from his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.
According to a statement issued by Al-Abadi's office, the two sides discussed ways of strengthening bilateral relations and the importance of starting a new phase of cooperation based on mutual respect and tackling challenges facing the two countries.
Davutoglu wished Al-Abadi success in the management of the new Iraqi government and announced that he would visit Baghdad in the coming period, the statement added.
