Israeli Naval Boats Arrest Four Palestinian Fishermen Offshore Gaza

(MENAFN- QNA) Israeli naval boats arrested Tuesday four Palestinian fishermen offshore al-Sudaniyya to the northwest of Gaza, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

An Israeli naval boat attacked a Palestinian fishing boat sailing within the six-nautical-miles fishing zone and arrested four fishermen, all members of al-Sultan family and are aged between 19 and 24 years.

Israeli navy continued to attack Palestinian fishing boats sailing within the six nautical miles fishing zone designated for Palestinian fishermen in another violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement reached on August 26.

Before striking the open-ended Gaza ceasefire agreement, Israel restricted the fishing zone designated for the Palestinians to three nautical miles, reducing fishermen’s intake.
