Vietnam's coffee exports hit USD440m


(MENAFN) Vietnamese coffee exports reached USD440 million since the beginning of this year, showing an annual increase of 23 percent, Xinhua reported.

The country exported 1.22 million tons of coffee in the first eight months of this year, earning over USD2.5 billion, an annual increase of 26.8 percent in volume and 22.3 percent in value.

According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, coffee market includes 80 countries and territories, 20 more markets than the number reported earlier this year.

The top ten coffee importers, which is produced in Dak Lak province, were Germany, Japan, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, the Republic of Korea (RoK), India, Spain, Indonesia and Russia.
