(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Islamabad September 03 (QNA) - The Pakistani Army has killed more than 910 terrorists in operations in North Waziristan the army said in a statement Wednesday. Security forces have cleared a number of areas including Miranshah Mirali Datta Khel Boya and Degan which were earlier considered terrorist strong holds. As 27 IED manufacturing factories one rocket and one ammunition manufacturing factory have been destroyed according to Pakistan's Geo News. Huge cache of arms and ammunition communication equipment and other logistics facilities used by terrorists have been destroyed uprooting their ability to attack as a coherent force. Over 2274 intelligence-led coordinated counter terrorism operations were carried out across the country to forestall any blow back of the military operation. Since the beginning of operation Zarb-e-Azb 82 soldiers were killed in the operations and 269 others sustained injuries. Meanwhile relief operations for the displaced people of North Waziristan Agency continue with full zest and zeal. Till now 19376 tons of rations have been distributed among 97570 families at six relief distribution points at Bannu DI Khan and Tank. (QNA)
