RCSI Bahrain holds Orientation Week for new students

(MENAFNEditorial) RCSI Bahrain announced that more than 300 new students have enrolled for courses in medicine and nursing this year. During the annual orientation week, students from 20 different nationalities were introduced to different aspects of student life with the support of RCSI Bahrain staff and senior students.

This year's proceedings commenced with a welcome breakfast held in the campus atrium. Students and their parents were given the opportunity to hear from Professor Sameer Otoom, RCSI Bahrain President, as well as Professor Joe McMenamin, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Head of School of Medicine, and Professor Seamus Cowman, Head of School of Nursing. During the session, the students were briefed on the rules and regulations and the university's expectations of its students to foster a positive and safe environment for student learning.

The new intake consists of students coming from a diverse range of countries, some as far afield as South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago and Canada, attracted by the prestigious reputation and international caliber of RCSI Bahrain.

RCSI Bahrain is celebrating 10 years in Bahrain and provides courses in medicine, nursing and postgraduate studies.
