Japan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Leaves for Germany


(MENAFN- QNA) Japan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishida has left Tokyo on Monday heading for Germany for talks with his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The purpose of his two-day confirm the two countries' cooperation on helping Ukraine succeed in establishing the truce it announced last week with pro-Russian separatists. Another issue believed to be high on the agenda is how to deal with Russia.

Kishida is also expected to try to confirm cooperation between Japan and Germany on reforming the UN Security Council. The two countries are seeking permanent seats on the council.
