Saudi's Al Khudari to diversify into solar, nuclear energy


(MENAFN) Abdullah Abdul Mohsin Al-Khodari Sons Company, the major Saudi Arabian construction firm announced that it is planning to diversify into solar and nuclear energy, Arab Times reported.

Al-Khodari's new activities will include supplying and installing solar energy equipment and systems, as well as providing contractor services, maintenance and other operations for nuclear energy.

Saudi Arabia, which currently has no nuclear reactors, said it is planning to install around 41 gigawatts of solar power over the next 20 years as well as about 17 GW of nuclear capacity.
