Yemeni Air Force Raid Houthi Group Positions


(MENAFN- QNA) Yemeni warplanes today launched several air raids that targeted positions and gatherings of Houthi group militants in Al-Jawf governorate in northern Yemen.

An official security source said in the press release that the warplanes targeted militant positions in the Directorate of Al-Gheel as well as Helwan and Al-Saqiya areas on the border with the neighboring province of Ma'rib but gave no reports on the fall of victims The source added that the air raids came after heavy fighting between the army and Houthi gunmen in several fronts which resulted in the occurrence of casualties on both sides, pointing out that the army was able late in the evening yesterday to control positions that had been under the control of Houthi group's gunmen in Al-Jawf junction area and other areas adjacent to Ma'rib governorate.
