Japanese PM Starts Visit to Sri Lanka


(MENAFN- QNA) Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived in Sri Lanka today in a visit aimed at enhancing the economic and security relations in in the South Asian region.

The Japanese Premier launched stage 2 of phase 2 of the BIA development project on his arrival at the airport which is being funded by the Japanese Government.

It has been 24 years since a Japanese prime minister last visited the island.
