Indian healthcare group seeks partnership with Bahraini hospital


(MENAFN) Top official said that Indian healthcare major Apollo Hospitals is planning to partner with A Bahraini hospital in super specialty areas, Gulf Daily News reported.

The healthcare major currently has more than 10,000 beds across 51 hospitals, more than 1,500 pharmacies, over 100 primary care and diagnostic clinics and 115 telemedicine units across nine countries, she said.

'Our hospitals are multi-specialty tertiary care facilities with centers of excellence in disciplines including cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics and joint replacement surgery, neurology, critical care medicine, nephrology, oncology, hand and micro-surgery and reproductive medicine,'" Ms Kamineni added.

India offers a wide range of specialized services at less than one-fifth of the cost in developed countries which is strengthening the medical tourism industry.
