Somali Youth Movement Chooses New Leader


(MENAFN- QNA) Somali Youth movement announced that they chose a new leader, "Abu Obeida Ahmed Omar", American CNN network reported Sunday.

Omar will lead the movement after his predecessor, Ahmed Guadin was killed in American raid last Monday. Gaudin known as the "chosen Abu Al-Zubeir" took over the leadership of the movement since its inception in 2006, and has had a key role in the killing of Somali officials and aid workers and others through suicidal operations carried out by the movement in different areas within the country and beyond.
