Honda Motors to recall 126 motorcycles

(MENAFN) Honda Motor Company is set to recall 126.000 motorcycles for a second time due to a possible malfunction in their brakes, Gulf Daily News reported.

The recall will cover Honda's GL-1800 motorcycles for model years 2001-2010 and 2012 due to a problem with their secondary brake master cylinder which can cause the rear brake to drag, potentially leading to a crash or fire.'

Honda had received 533 complaints through July 24, including reports of eight small fires, though there have been no reports of crashes or injuries as a result of the problem.

Honda originally recalled the motorcycles in December 2011 but continued to receive complaints. The company has announced that the root cause of the problem has not yet been determined and that they are continuing in their investigations.
