(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Directorate General of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances has arrested an Asian expatriate from the wilayat of Seeb for possessing 220 heroin capsules.
A source said that the accused was arrested while selling the drugs. 'Thirty heroin capsules were seized from him at the time of his arrest while another 190 capsules were recovered from his residence' he said.

Two citizens among five held for drug trafficking
Officials from the Buraimi Police Command have arrested two citizens in separate cases of drug trafficking.
In the first case an accused was arrested with nine bottles of methadone.
The other citizen was arrested at the Wadi al Jizi checkpost.
Meanwhile three Asians were also arrested on charges of possessing drugs and entering the country illegally.
