Indian award for Ajman school principal


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Principal of Al Ameer English School Ajman S J Jacob has been selected for the National Award for the best teacher in the academic year 2013-14.

The President of India Dr Pranab Mukherjee will confer the award on Jacob on September 5 in a ceremony to be held in New Delhi. Jacob is also founder president of Ernakulam Pravasi Welfare Association.

Al Ameer English School was set up in 1991 in a villa in Rumaila Ajman. The school was moved to the present premises in 2004 and it now functions from a spacious campus. The school expanded and grew into a full-fledged educational institution with singular blocks for KG Primary and Secondary sections. It has separate blocks for girls and boys.

The school has a course curriculum structured by the CBSE Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary.
