Eurozone's GDP stable in Q2, up 0.2 percent in EU


(MENAFN) Official figures showed that gross domestic product (GDP) remained stable in the 18-member euro area during the second quarter compared with the previous one, Xinhua reported.

Meanwhile, the GDP increased by 0.2 percent in the wider 28-member European Union (EU) during the same period, compared with the previous quarter.

On an annual basis, seasonally-adjusted GDP surged by 0.7 percent in the euro area, while it increased by 1.2 percent in the EU in the April-June period of 2014.
