HDC plans to increase GCC export to USD3.14b


(MENAFN) Chief executive officer said that the Malaysian Halal Industry Development Corp (HDC) plans to increase export products to the GCC from USD628 million to USD3.14 billion soon, QNA reported.

He added that HIDC was assured of achieving its target through reaching Saudi Arabia, which plays a significant role among GCC countries.

HDC has signed collaboration deal with a Saudi company, Samyco, to allow over 100 local Halal companies to bring their products to the country.

Established in 2010, Samyco considered as an agent and a distributor of food and beverages in Saudi Arabia and throughout the Arabian Gulf.
