Asian stocks end in red territories, BoJ stands pat

Asian stocks closed the trading session to the downside while anticipating the central banks  decisions  in Japan and Europe today, where BoJ left monetary policy unchanged for the month of September amid growing pressure on the economy, and now the eyes towards the ECB`s decision.

Turning to the geopolitical situation, the Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday he had spoken to his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko, where Putin issued a plan to ensure 7 points to end the war in southeast Ukraine, as further talks are scheduled on Friday.

- Japanese Nikkei 225 ended 0.33% lower at 15676.18.

- Topix ended 0.39% lower at 1296.39.

-  Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 ended 0.44% lower at 5631.26.

- New Zealand NZX/50 ended 0.08% higher at 5228.55.
