(MENAFN) Emirates Airline anticipates to fly 70 million passengers every year by 2020 after reaching around 40 million passengers per year currently, mainly due to Dubai Expo 2020, Emirates 24/7 reported
With the newly announced new routes to Oslo and Brussels and a new service to Budapest by the end of the year, the airliner will be covering 140 destinations worldwide and the company expects to continue its growth and deepen its investment in routes and new aircrafts around the world in the coming years.
Emirates Airline also anticipates on putting on an average of 10 new routes a year as well as increasing the frequency to a number of key destinations, which will include more flights to a number of GCC and regional cities.
