Toyota ME sales up 6 percent in H1


(MENAFN) Toyota announced a stable growth in sales in the Middle East region in the January-June period, with sales reaching 356.805 units, up 6 percent in sales as compared to the same period in 2013, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

Sales of the new Yaris sedan saw a 63 percent increase as it sold 27.823 units, while the RAV4 sales grew by 34 percent to reach 7.960 units and the sales of Toyota's Land Cruiser SUV sold 4.083 units, up 4 percent in the cited period.

"These results give us a good platform to build on in terms of extending our robust performance for the rest of 2014 with a great lineup of vehicles that reflect our ongoing product innovation, quality, durability and reliability." Chief Representative of MENA offices of Toyota said.
