ME airlines passenger numbers up 9.2 percent in July


(MENAFN) The Middle Eastern airlines registered a 9.2 percent increase in the number of passengers they carried in July, compared to an increase of 8.2 in the same period last year, Gulf News reported.

On average, planes from the Middle East were 78 per cent full in the month of July, up 0.7 percent in comparison to a year earlier.

Over the January-July period, the number of passengers travelling on Middle East carriers has grown 12.7 per cent while capacity on these airlines has increased 10.3 per cent over the same period as well.
