(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Every parent today is looking to offer their children the best education opportunities. They are looking for ways to empower their children so that they can gain entry into the best educational institutions. For this they ensure that they receive the best coaching available.

In order to create awareness towards this programme BIIT has been conducting a series of Open House sessions for parents and students in the past few weeks. So far over 200 parents have participated in it and a few more sessions are planned in the coming weeks as well.

Most students of the Science stream today are willing to compete with the best to get into the Indian Institutes of technology (IITs) which is the natural choice when it comes to engineering.

IITs are the undisputed leader in the area of technical education in India and students from across the world are vying for a seat in these prestigious institutions. Competition to enter this institution is quite tough. Most students undergo full-time tutoring by the best coaching centres in order to clear its entrance examinations.

In India the students have multiple options available to undergo preparations for such competitive exams. However the students pursuing CBSE curriculum in various Indian schools in Oman are missing the benefit of such coaching and hence are forced to relocate to schools in India after finishing class 10 or resort to other formats of coaching such as crash courses in India or self-practice tests.

Understanding this challenge Bahwan International Institute of Technology (BIIT) has launched the first specialised IIT-JEE Coaching Course in Oman. The course is aimed at giving students who are aspiring for a career in engineering the best coaching in the core subjects to help them emerge winners in the entrance examinations. BIIT has launched the IIT-JEE coaching classes from July in Muscat. This course is designed exclusively for students who are aiming to get a high rank in these competitive examinations.

The course has been designed to help students gain advanced analytical thinking capabilities in Science and Mathematics to help them solve complex problems. BIIT provides excellent study materials which are synchronised with school education while supplementing and expanding upon the knowledge acquired in school.

Karthik Sundararaman executive vice president BIIT said 'Thanks to our extensive research over the past year we have designed our courses and courseware in a way that helps students easily handle the complexities involved in combining this coaching with the curriculum of the Indian schools in Oman. Our dedicated faculty with their rich experience and exposure will endeavour for the success of our students.'

In order to create awareness towards this programme BIIT has been conducting a series of Open House sessions for parents and students in the past few weeks. So far over 200 parents have participated in it and a few more sessions are planned in the coming weeks as well.

The first crash course for the students of class 12 was completed during July and August. For more information on the courses contact 93574576 92887805 and 92549142.
