(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Ministry of Civil Service (MoCS) in cooperation with the Al Qasr al Khaleeji Establishment for Training will hold the second edition of the 'Economy and Sustainable Development' training programme in Lausanne Switzerland between December 6 and 12.

According to a press release  23 officials from various government organisations will take part in this five-day programme. H E Sayyid Salem bin Musalam al Busaidi Undersecretary for administrative development in MoCS said that the programme aims to enable participants form a strategic vision to tackle challenges of global economy.

Tailored to meet the needs of the sultanate the programme will focus on seven themes: Global openness development and trade sustainability economic growth sustainable finance global openness vs realisation of goals of development and impact of climate change and demand of energy and water.

Focus will also be on leadership strategic challenges partnership between public and private sectors and finance of small and medium enterprises.

It will enable participants to understand the challenges opportunities in sustainable development.

Discussions will also be held on challenges faced by developing countries and on improving the decision-making process the release further said.
