(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Ministry of Sports Affairs (MoSA) on Wednesday announced a total prize money of RO150000 to winners of Best Innovative Ideas competition which will be launched soon.

The money will go to 15 best submissions. The ministry will invite citizens in the age group of 15 to 45 years and those who are members of sports clubs to submit innovative ideas that can help in the development of the country. Abdullah al Gaiti head of the organising committee at MoSA said 'The competition is an opportunity for our people particularly the youth to express themselves.'

Gaiti said that though the committee is focusing on sports and healthy living through this competition ideas on education health culture tourism and business are also welcome.

'Participants have to submit ideas at their respective sports club in each governorate. We are expecting submission of thousands of interesting ideas at 44 clubs across Oman.

The best ideas could even be considered for implementation in future' Gaiti added
