Japan, China, S. Korea to Hold Joint Antinuclear Disaster Drill

(MENAFN- QNA) Japan, China and South Korea have agreed that their first-ever joint antinuclear disaster drill will be staged in South Korea on November 20, government sources said Wednesday.

Japan's News Kyodo reported today that Japanese and Chinese officials will go to South Korea to exchange expertise and information on how to deal with a nuclear disaster.

The three countries reached the agreement on the drill on Tuesday when their nuclear regulators met in Tokyo to exchange information in a closed-door session. They started such meetings in 2008.
