S. Korea's Consumer Prices Grow 1.42 in August.


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Seoul September 02 (QNA) - South Korea's consumer prices grew at the slowest pace in four months during August partly because stabilization of farming goods prices a government report showed Tuesday. The country's consumer price index rose 1.4% in August compared to a year earlier decelerating from July's 1.6% gain. It was the slowest growth rate since April when consumer prices rose 1.5%. The core inflation which excludes volatile oil and food prices rose 2.4% year-on-year up from July when it was 2.2% South Korea's News (Yonhap) reported. (QNA)
