(MENAFN- QNA) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that his country is seeking to strengthen cooperation with Tunisia in the fight against terrorism.
Lavrov made the remarks during his meeting here today with his Tunisian counterpart Mounji Hamidi, saying the positions of Russia and Tunisia on regional and international issues are either close or identical.
He stressed that Moscow is interested in strengthening cooperation with the Arab world in the settlement of the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
