60,000 Displaced in Syria's Hasakah Due to Shelling

(MENAFN- QNA) Up to 60,000 people have been displaced from Syria's northeastern province of Hasakah due to shelling by President Bashar al-Assad's regime forces, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The Observatory, which is based in London, added that the southeastern neighborhood of Gueran saw the exodus of tens of thousands of Syrians over the past few days because of the incessant shelling of regime forces, noting that the bombing led to the killing and wounding of dozens.
