The region's healthcare infra-development, mainly driven by the private sector, has been witnessing significant growth for the past couple of years with aggressive plans to rapidly expand the reach of services. The recent implementation of mandatory medical insurance policy in Dubai would help the sector expand, providing all residents access to full health care services. With our plan to develop the 75-bed multi-specialty Mulk Hospital and additional GHID Centres and pharmacies, we will be capable to fill the gap of medical service delivery and play a greater role in the UAE's healthcare sector, as the country is emerging as a regional medical tourism hub."
