Kuwaiti-Indonesian parliamentary cmte meets Indonesian Foreign Ministry official


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Kuwaiti-Indonesian joint parliamentary friendship committee met Tuesday with Indonesian Deputy Foreign Minister Dino Patti Djalal, discussing with him means to bolster bilateral relations in all possible domains.

Speaking to KUNA via phone, MP Khalil Abdullah, said that the Indonesian official welcomed the members of the committee, expressing his country's eagerness to bolster relations with Kuwait.

He said that the meeting also touched on Kuwait's support to Indonesia within the parliamentary domain, adding that the Indonesian official thanked Kuwait for its support of Indonesia's candidate for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Noor Hayati.

The talks also touched on issues related to counterterrorism efforts, the Palestinian cause, and other regional and international issues, said Abdullah.
