The recall includes vehicles produced from Dec. 2, 2013 to Jan. 23, 2014, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) said.
The defective vehicle's fuel pump cover may fail to work and lead to the loosening of the fuel pump, resulting in oil leaks in extreme conditions, the AQSIQ statement said.
Changan PSA is a joint venture created by Chinese carmaker Chongqing Changan Automobile Group and French carmaker PSA Peugeot Citroen Group, which is based in the city of Shenzhen.
