(MENAFN) The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that it began working on a new water pipeline, set to cost USD46.26 million, and will supply water through a group of networks spreading 25 kilometers into different parts of the emirate, Emirates 24/7 reported.
The project will include installing 17 water distribution sites, which are expected to expand water transportation between the main lines as well as increase water flow and ensure a continuous water supply to the city, with the project expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
DEWA also said that it plans to raise the capacity and efficiency of its water and electricity infrastructure to provide a more capable service to its consumers, including the growing developers and businesses present in Dubai.
