Parts of Oman to get more rain today, says Met office


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) More rain is expected on Monday after various governorates experienced light to moderate showers over the weekend. 

The Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Navigation has also said that there are chances of sporadic rain and thundershowers over the Hajar mountains and adjoining areas. 'The weather is expected to be cloudy along the coastal areas of Dhofar governorate and adjoining mountains with intermittent drizzle and chance of isolated rain.'

The Met office also said that there were chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along coastal areas.

Meanwhile according to the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources Mudhaibi in North Sharqiyah recorded the highest rainfall (37mm) followed by 30mm in Yanqul Dhahirah 26mm in Hamra 18mm each in Nizwa Izki and Bahla in Dakhliyah 10mm in Sohar North Batinah and 6mm in Buraimi. Several wadis have been flooded.
