Qatari business team visits Kenya


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) A delegation of Qatari businessmen led by Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani Al Thani, the Second Deputy Chairman of Qatari Businessmen Association, has visited the east African country of Kenya to scout for investment opportunities.

Sheikh Dr Khalid said that Qatari business community was seriously considering the Kenyan market and looking for opportunities to invest in the country as well as share experiences in different fields.

"This visit by Qatari Businessmen comes as part of the strong economic and commercial relationship between the two countries, which is growing and expanding responsibly with the right guidance of the Emir, H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani."

The delegation met Kenya's Foreign Affairs Minister Amina Mohammed and Kenyan business leaders over a dinner. The dinner was also attended by the Qatar's Ambassador to Kenya Ibrahim Al Abdollah and the Kenyan Ambassador in Qatar Galma Mukhe Boru.
