HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud along with the delegation accompanying him returned Saturday to Doha after participating in the Sixth Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations hosted in Bali, Indonesia.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister participated in the concluding session of the forum.
The two-day event discussed strategic and practical measures that generate and sustain common values and a shared sense of responsibility among all stakeholders, partners and constituencies towards working against extremism and encouraging dialogue between different cultures. The participants also discussed schedule of next year's meeting.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Indonesia Mohammed Khater Ibrahim Al Khater attended the final session along with members of the delegation accompanying HE the Deputy Prime Minister.
Earlier today, HE Al Mahmoud left Indonesia and was seen off upon departure by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Indonesia and Indonesian foreign ministry's director of diplomatic immunities and privileges.
