Spanish economy posts strong growth, GDP up


(MENAFN) The Spanish economy registered its fastest quarterly growth in the second quarter this year since before the financial crisis, Gulf Daily News reported.

Gross domestic product increased 0.6 percent in the April-June period, registering the fourth consecutive quarter of growth and the strongest since the last quarter of 2007.

Meanwhile, inflation rates decreased 0.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
