Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Meets Saudi Delegation


General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi crown prince and deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, on Thursday met Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, Chief of General Intelligence Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Interior Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.

The Abu Dhabi crown prince hailed the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz towards the region's future, stability and development at such a critical stage of its history, UAE state news agency WAM reported.

The meeting discussed means of enhancing and developing cooperation ties between the two countries on all fronts. The two sides also reviewed the path of Gulf Cooperation Council and the keenness of both countries to boost joint GCC work and adopt stances that contribute to Gulf unity so as to benefit the Gulf peoples and enable them to tackle threats and challenges.

Additionally, the meeting touched on current developments and aspects of joint work to support security and stability in the region.
