Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped a significant 428.05 points (-3.09%) when the bourse closed at 13,443.16 points Thursday.
The trading value reached QR 1.402 billion with a volume of 19,965,395 shares from 10,028 transactions today.
Indices of all sectors dropped, barring insurance which gained 0.81%. Telecom sector fell a substantial 9.99% while consumer goods and services dropped 3.06%.
From the 43 listed companies 37 fell, four gained and two remained unchanged.
