Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki on Wednesday met HE Qatar's Ambassador to Asmara Mohammed bin Issa Al Manai on the occasion of ending his tenure in Eritrea.
During the meeting, HE the ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Eritrean president and HH's wishes of health and happiness to the president and progress and prosperity to the Eritrean people.
For his part, the Eritrean president asked HE the ambassador to convey his greetings and wishes of health and happiness to HH the Emir as well as his wishes of progress, development and prosperity to the State of Qatar.
The meeting reviewed the existing bilateral ties between the two countries and means of enhancing and developing them.
