Al Jazeera Airways passengers increase on major routes


(MENAFN) Al Jazeera Airways announced an increase in passengers on routes serving Jeddah, Istanbul, Cairo, Sharram El Sheikh and Sohag in July, KUNA reported.

The Kuwaiti airways registered an increase of 129 percent in flown passengers on the Kuwait-Istanbul compared to July 2013. The company currently has five flights per week servicing Istanbul Ataturk Airport.

The number of passengers flying on the Kuwait-Jeddah route increased by 5 percent in the cited period.

Meanwhile, flown passengers on the route serving Cairo increased by 12 percent from July 2013, while Sharm El Sheikh flown passenger numbers increased 19 percent.
