Kuwait, France Hold Meeting Ahead of Joint Military Exercise in November
Kuwaiti army's general staff headquarters announced the start of a Kuwaiti-French meeting ahead of conducting the Pearl of the West 2014 joint military drill from November 15 to 27.
The joint exercise involves land, sea, and air forces of both armies and comes as an implementation of an agreement signed previously by both countries, a press statement by the Kuwaiti armed forces said on Tuesday.
The statement added that the Kuwaiti armed forces take part in such joint exercises in order to upgrade and streamline its fighting capabilities.
